Private Pension Partners (“P3”) on behalf of Core Fund is very proud to announce the 100% acquisition of the Safeway grocery store and Shell gas bar located at 1612 & 1626 Ness Avenue.

Situated in the heart of the Polo Park retail node directly across from CF Polo Park being Winnipeg’s largest regional mall with over 4 million square feet of commercial retail space throughout the broader trade area, the Madison Square complex enjoys an excellent location with high visibility on both Route 90 and Ness Avenue and is adjacent to Portage Avenue being three of Winnipeg’s busiest traffic arteries.

With the acquisition of the Madison Square and St. James commercial portfolio being a major multi-tenant asset cluster by our Core Fund in November of 2018, this acquisition provides P3 near-complete control over the entire Madison Square site.

P3 believes that these fully leased assets will generate the recurring cash flows conducive to the Core Fund’s long-term hold and income generation strategy.
