Our “income now” vehicle, Apartment Plus Real Estate Investment Trust (“A+ REIT”) was formed to deliver recurring, stable cash distributions to investors with strong total returns through ownership of a portfolio of stabilized, pension quality, income producing properties. The REIT has a focus on newly built or substantially renovated built-for-rental multi-family properties and has a target to hold up to 20% of its portfolio in tactical street-front commercial properties.
New equity Investments in A+ REIT will be used to:
1. To fund the equity portion of new properties acquisitions in furtherance of the REIT’s mandate
2. To repay amounts owing on the REIT’s credit facilities and for other investments
